Plant description:

BFB boiler, 30 MWt and 8 Mwe 100% forest residual, 50% moisture, flue gas condenser 7 MW, which is cooled by district heating water and combustion air. NOx reduction with NH3

Fuel feeding system: Chain scrapers and rotating screws

Turbine: HP- and LP cylinders each with 10 stages connected to a common gear to the 1500 rpm generator

Steam data: 60 bar, 485 deg C

Flue gas cleaning: Nox-reductions with NH3 injection in the furnace

Cooling system: district heating water only


The plant is operated unattended during nights and weekend. It is legal to operate the plant 16 hours unattended. 2 persons are available on call one week out of four weeks. 2 persons daytime. Full time employees 9 persons
