Plant description:

ARN BV is a waste processor that incinerates part of the collected waste in two incineration lines. The flue gas that is created during incineration is purified with the help of an ultramodern flue gas purification unit. Continuous measurements and monitoring measurements by an independent and recognised institute confirm that ARN successfully meets the statutory goals (emission)

Turbine: Turbine 1: 9 MWe Turbine 2: 18 MWe. The condensation type steam turbines have 2 extraction points (10 bar and 1.4 bar)

Flue gas cleaning: Electrostatic filter #1 – Spray dryer (vaporising waste water) – Electrostatic filter #2 – Washer- deNOx- Adsorption Bags Filter

Cooling system: Line 1: Air cooled condenser Line 2: Air cooled condenser in parallel with tube condenser cooling with process water from the waste water plant

Staff: There are 90 people involved in the operation and maintenance. 4 operators (24 h/day) times 6 shifts = about 25 + 65 persons during daytime.
