Contractor details:

The boiler is delivered by Ahström (Foster Wheeler). Steam turbine by ABB Stal, which also included renovation because the turbine was used. Flue gas condensation delivered by Fagersta Eneregtics.

Main fuel: Wood chips

A mixture of forest residual, saw dust, bark, dry wood chips and wood logs.

Net electrical output: 18 MWe

Heat output:  80 MJ/s

Nominal thermal input depends on the moisture content. Flue gas condenser on around 20 MW. According to Mr Peter Lind is the Power to heat ratio 0,34 and the Nominal overall efficienct 105

How is plant controlled: The plants is controlled by the heat demand.

Heat backup: Oil boiler as peak load and back-up

Energy usage: The energy customers are for example households, industry, and municipality. Own power consumption include operation of the district heating pumps

District heat coverage (% of total demand in DH network): 55 %

DH inlet temperature: 80-120 °C

DH return temperature: 42-65°C

Heat storage size: 2500 m3

Hours of full load that the heat storage can meet: < 1 huor on full load Fuel storage: It is possible to storage fuel for one month

Waste water: It is possible to recover heat from the water. PH- adjustment of the condensat

Ash discharge: Recycling to the forest

Fuel feeding system:

The fuel is  delivered to a storage. The fuel is then sieved and the fuel which has to big size is chipped.  Scrape feeding to the  intermediate storage indoors( storage capacity of three days). Rubber belts to boiler house. Stoker to the boiler, conveyer, scrape, cell feeder

Turbine: an old turbine delivered by ABB Stal

Steam data: 74 bar, 505 degree Celcius, 101 tons/hr

Flue gas cleaning: Elctrostatic precipitator, SNCR

500 °C, 65 bar before the turbine, <1 bar around 80°C after the  condenser. Staff: The employees also run a waste incineration plant. Total around 50 employees.  Around 25 at daytime. 4 at night.

Electricity sale info: Electricity is sold to customer all over Sweden
